Tan interior, parting out 2000 GT

Parting out my red 2000 GT project car. The interior of this car is NEAR MINT. I replaced nearly everything in the interior with the intention of making this a secondary mustang for my wife. But the project's gone south, and the entire car is being parted. COMPLETE TAN INTERIOR is going in...

Do not buy from SO CAL TUNING

Just a word of wisdom, Shawn Ellis at So Cal Tuning in Anaheim, CA is a rip off. I recently purchased a Teksid aluminum block from him on ebay, paid $275 with shipping, and he never sent it, doesn't return phone calls or email now. I tried to dispute with paypal, but they are not able to recover...

    Vortech SQ Question!

Mine does it based on the brand of belt. I can switch to my old belt and it sounds completely different, then switch back, and it changes tone again. It's likely the belt. Or as said, could be your bearings. Best way to find out.... replace the belt.

    ATTN: 00-04 Vortech Owners!

Vortech kits do not come with a new MAF that I know of. You need to get a new one, or have a tuner make the necessary adjustments in the tune for your stock MAF. I'd suggest an upgrade to something like the Pro-M .

    stock crank capabilities

6800 rpm.... 640 rear wheel. No problems here on stock cast crank. It's cheaper, and they're just as strong up to a certain point. You'll rarely hear of someone breaking a crank in a street/strip car. Road racing is a different animal.

    SOTM November winner!!!

Yea, but it's slooooow. Needs a good tune. It's the 3v 4.6 from the Mustang pretty much, but it's de-tuned for 87 octane.

    SOTM November winner!!!

Actually, I had to sell the lightning this past summer because I needed 4 doors, and better gas mileage. I miss that truck. So here's the new tow vehicle. :nice: We'll see if anybody recognizes what it is... She's not fast yet, but maybe one day.

    pics of new finished trunk

If you do the intercooler kit, you really need to make sure everything else is up to snuff at the same time to get maximum benefits from it. An Anderson power pipe before the blower really opens up the intake, and a larger throttlebody and plenum helps get that air in quicker. I don't see...

    pics of new finished trunk

Thanks. Boost is about 13 psi at peak. Pulley is the standard 3.33 pulley that comes with the intercooled kit. The E85 fuel allows me to crank up the timing to get a little more power.

    pics of new finished trunk

Thought I'd share the photos of my finished trunk (finally). I made a new trunk mat to cover the floor out of thin ABS plastic covered in black carpet. The Kenne Bell Boost-a-pump adjustment knob is on the left, the icewater tank for the intercooler in the spare tire well, and my NHRA legal...
