    X2! Looks overall "cleaner".

    slow mustang

My formula for high 13s was PI cams, PI intake, x-pipe, gears and DRs with the stock tune. I'm a noob when it comes to the track as well. PI cams and intake can be had real cheap and installed by a backyard mechanic. It will pull and maybe even more important, feel much better with the...

    '98 GT won't start

So the gas has "been in there a while"? That would be my first look. Did you use Stabil-fuel additive?

    New GT Convertible

By how dark the tint is, it does look like a southern car. Really nice find!:nice:

Like a new car again. :)

Congrats on the A/C. Mine is not working as we are approaching summer and need to diagnose. I fixed mine twice prior already - these things need to get worked and mine is a weekender :(. For $35, those PI cams are a great deal and if you can borrow or find a used Ford timing chain "wedge"...

    DFG 97 GT Vert

Can't believe you hadn't made it over here for a long as you've been around. Big welcome and didn't look really that bad back when it was "stock". Have to say the "hypercoated Saleens" setup is my favorite. Lookin' good!

Someone tried to steal my ride!

Viper alarm is a good idea and you should be able reduce your insurance with it. Two places I won't bring my mustang as I read a long time ago they were worst places for cars to get either broken into or stolen (my wife's CRX was broken into at the mall once now that I think of it). The two...

Should I let my mustang go?

My vote is for the Rx7 as well. Unique, handles like a mother and looks awesome.

    Chrome 98 GT wheels

I agree with cerhard, by the time you pay to get them chromed, you might as well look at another set of rims and upgrade from the 17x8" to atleast 17x9 and get more rubber underneath you. Here is one of the only pics I have of these taken at Carlisle a few years back. IMO, the 98 year (the...

    Got Hood Painted!! Quick PhotoShoot!!

Looks "finished/complete" like a higher class and more expensive car with the paint and BA to boot. Came out great and some nice pics you took there. Congrats!

    As promised..photoshoot! (56k go make a sammich)

Very nice pics! Especially love 2 and 11 - exhaust tips really set it off. Nice job.

    I hate Deer.

Should be comprehensive. Unfortunately, I've went through this last year. Damn XL rats.

    Exiting the mustang game...

GL with the sale, but will definatly miss you around these parts and make sure you keep lurking after your officially out. Sweet Stang!

    most hp setup?

Choice #1 is your best bet. PI cams and Pulleys will net you ~15-20 rwhp along with some tq increases.

    totalled the gt :(

Man Sooo many deer plus mustang combo threads (myself included). I'm beginning to wonder if they love the sound of a Mustang GT's V-8. Hope you feel better quick and get either your baby back or into an even better one. Try and keep your head up.

    98 gt dyno

X2. I have very similiar mods as you and was able to get decently under the 14s with minimal experience (only went twice to the track), so I'm sure you'll do fine. Watch the wheelspin off the line ~2.5 krpm launch and go with Winter's advice on shift points for a good jumping off point. You...

First time out in the stang for 2009

Hey looks real good and fresh as a daisy. I recently have been driving mine although it was technically on the road. We had such bad weather in the N.E. all winter long starting just prior to Thanksgiving, so I know how you feel letting her gallop. Sweet feeling for sure.
