    Shaky Steering Wheel

You are just check to see how straight some thing is, in this case how round it is. No high and low spots when the wheel and tire is spun.

    Tranny fluid change question.

No filter in a manual tranny.

    Shaky Steering Wheel

If the steering wheel shakes only when the brakes are applied that would be the case. The only time you have a vibration is if there is an imbalance in a rotating assembly or an out of round condition, rotors that are warped will not cause a vibration condition untill they have pressure applied...

    Shaky Steering Wheel

You can balance something all day long and if it is out of round it will still vibrate like that. Check the run out on the wheel and the tire and see how bad out one or more may be. I believe that you have a bent wheel or tire out of round. The latest balance machines that are out are able to be...

    Tranny fluid change question.

Fill plug should be on the pass. side about half way up the tranny. The drain plug is on the very bottom pointing strait down(that is a sure fire way to tell that you have a 3650).

    Tire Question

The Nitto 555 is with in a couple of bucks of that and are better gripping tires and have personaly gotten 64k miles out of a set that I properly took car of, but raced a few times.

    Camber Plates/Adjusters

Most are just as good as the other(because a lot of them are the same piece w/ a different name on it). I prefer the steel 3 bolt design because you do not have to modify anything and the steel ones seem to be a little more durable.

    Tranny fluid change question.

It should be on the pass. side on the bottom. If you are going to drain the tranny(that sounds funny for some reason) w/ the shifter installed pull the fill plug out so the old fluid will not "gurgle" out on ya. The best thing to do is to leave the shifter off, fill plug out, and after fluid...

    OK to use spacers?

Most do not have an actual "rule" on spacers. As long as there is enough thread for the lug nut to use properly and the spacers are a one piece design it should pass tech.

    1/8 mile times....

Looks like you all already know that the 60 ft is the most important. 2.00 flat 60's are very do'able in a stone stock GT, maybe not consistently. 8.90's are just down the track w/ those 60's, stock. I have done it many times but took me a year or two punishing a stock GT every test and tune...

    Problems Installing projector headlights

Yes, you have to open the stock cage up behind the headlight assem. because it only has room for the original single bulb. The projector splits this up into two bulbs (low beam and high) and the cage will not clear.

    2004 mustang e.t's

Yes, equal money spent the GT is the best way to go at first. I was just replying about the M1 gear swap. The main thing about buying a GT and puttin' a KB on is that the Cobra has a excellent bottom end where the GT will not last long driven hard.

    I have seen a few M1's w/ 4.30's that haul.

    Tires

Both Nitto and BFG make great drag radials. I like the Nitto better but they are slightly more picky on the "perfect" burn out procedure. Mainly just do a 2nd gear burn out untill they start to haze and go straight to staging with no "dry hops" will work great with either brand.

    Tires

Properly used will net a .3 drop on average on a near stock GT.

    Aftermarket 2v Heads

Some of this that is talked about in this thread can be done away with about "if it is coming or not". It is going to happen, I have already spoken to some of the companies that are able to do it and I have listed 2 that are within 2 years possibly of them supplying us with a new head and...

    Aftermarket 2v Heads

When I talked to TFS we spoke about the problem that will arise w/ a "good" aftermarket design is that the OHC design of the head will hamper better valve placement for better performance because the stock valve placement on the intake side is the main problem w/ the stock design. TFS informed...

    Aftermarket 2v Heads

Well I have talked to AFR and TFS and they are going to r&d 2v heads in the near future.

    Aftermarket 2v Heads

Which company do you think will come out with 'em first? I think it will be Trick Flow or Air Flow Research. I have a design and sittin' back to see if anyone's design will be like it.
