    there is one aftermarket head and that is the svo. I don't know if that is considered aftermarket or not but the are supposed to flow really well and on the #'s I have seen the make more power than PI heads but the cost a lot more money. you best bet would be to get you heads P&P with bigger valves

    sean hyland and dss prep their blocks to the extreme. but they also cost the most. if you are wanting between 450-550rwhp then get one from vt. vt is the most resonablypriced and they hold a lot of power.

    your best bet would be to drop a complete 03 cobra motor in your car because it will take you forever to piece everything together.

    most cams will run you about 600. if it is custom it will probabl be about the same amount. also you have to add in about another 250 bucks for the tools and the valve springs.

    I would also drill a hole in the thermostat to reduce cavitation in the motor. this will help your motor cool a lot better.

    your going to have drone with the flows. if you want to get rid of the drone and get a better flowing muffler then get magnaflows. I have had them and I liked them just liked the flows a little better.

    you will definately need a custom burned chip. all a diablosport can give you is a bump in timing and a little bit of fuel curve adv. If you live in the east of the us the I know t&j performance in atl. and modulardepot do a very good job at tuning cars.

    on the late 01+ cars the iat is built into the maf sensor. if you look at the plug in for the maf then you will notice it has more wires.
