    Guess what, I picked up my 03 brand new and only had about 10 minutes of experience driving stick. Just be prepared to stall and feel embarrassed.....like I was. :D But you will get the hang of it soon enough. BTW, where at in NJ are you?

    Brakes??

    I have the EBC Greenstuff pads and hate them. Did not notice a better stop over stock. And the brake dust is out of control. Worst I've ever seen. I'm going back to Hwak pads. Also, a friend of mine had them as well and took them off his Mach 1 within a week.

    Belt should be around $40 at most. RR pulley around $130. And then $$ for the idler pulley(s). The set is expensive, I know. But no slip. I would try to borrow a puller from some before buying one. But yes, it does add up. :crazy:

    It's normal. Cobra's are not in boost until you go WOT. I could be driving at 6,000 rpm's and still not be in boost. See, this is on the highway.....not in boost..............

    It would look great. But slotted rotors on a street driven car is not good. They are never at the correct operating temp. to perform 100%. Take it for what it's worth. But I spoke with someone at Brembo about this. I think he would know.

    Btw, Brembo ONLY sells Slotted OR Cross Drileld Rotors. They DO NOT make Slotted/Cross Drilled Rotors. So if you see a site saying they are selling real Brembo Slotted/Cross Drilled Rotors, I wouldn't buy them. :nice:

    Street car - Cross drilled rotors with a good set of pads (Hawk). Or just plain rotors with a good set of pads. Track Car (Auto Cross) - Slotted Rotors and a good set of pads. NOTES:: Slotted AND Cross Drilled (together) rotors are not a good idea. Slotted are not good...

    We already know this. A Mach 1 can beat an LS1 and an LS1 can beat a Mach 1. I already posted this. It is a drivers race. And I will agree with you on the Trap Speed thing. Trap speed gives a good indication of the car's potential.
