TAX time, can anyone help me out here?

When filing taxes it asks if anyone CAN claim you as a dependent. If my parents didn't claim me I would still have to check that box. Fortunately, my parents are kind enough to pay me the difference between what I get and what I would get if they didn't claim me. I'm 21, but still in college...

    longtubes & plugs

More difficult, not really, no. I think losing the smog equipment made the passenger side a whole heck of a lot easier to do though. I haven't had any problems with my LT's heating up my starter and having it not work? FWIW, I have MAC 1 5/8" ceramic coated tubes.

    Master cyl- Cobra vs GT

The GT cylinder feels great, don't swap it unless you have to. I barely felt a difference in pedal feel before and after the 13" Cobra brake upgrade (front, 11.65" in the back). I can't say as far as going bigger than the 13", but I would recommend sticking with the stocker, it works just...

What to use in my FMU? 10:1 or 8:1

I don't have any experience with the FMU or the discs, so I can't comment on that. I can, however, also support some of the items mentioned above. If you can afford to upgrade your injectors, MAF and fuel pump, it would be greatly to your benefit. A HP 255 fuel pump is all you need, so don't...

Does anyone have any pics of our cars painted in Flat Black?

I agree that a silver wing would be :ack: The black look is certainly a sleeper, especially if the opposing ride doesn't know jack about mustangs except what a v6 emblem looks like. I'm not really sure what they could have done differently, but if I had my choice of Mach 1 and cared about...

Does anyone have any pics of our cars painted in Flat Black?

It would be interesting to see what the reverse would look like as you mentioned. I wish Ford would have done silver or some other more noticeable accents on the black Mach 1's. My brother's is black and it's really tough to see the accents. To see the side molding labels you have to look for...

Does anyone have any pics of our cars painted in Flat Black?

It is the SLR. The picture is from the NAIAS in Detroit. I don't think flat black would look good on our cars, but someone could try to make me a believer.

    $600 to stimulate the stang

My tax refund goes to pay my motorcycle loan down to $1,000, but that leaves me with a more open summer money line. My taxes are also done, so I hope to put this money directly into the car as well. So many things I want to do to this darn car. I blame 69clark for having such a clean ride...

fox body clutch fork on my 96?

Clutch forks for 87-93 differ from 94-95. Us 94-95ers that do a TKO swap have to get a fox clutch fork. The input shaft on our cars T5 is some degree longer, I want to say 5/8" longer, but it's longer. As for which clutch fork, I guess it really depends what year the T5 was from?

    506Hp/507TQ on only 9PSI???

There is no doubt that a person can reach 500 whp/tq with a H/C/I and boost, but the question is with 9 PSI of boost. It seems to me that you add somewhere around 10 hp for every psi of boost, so with 9 PSI you add around 90 hp. While it's true that a really well matched and flowing combo might...

    506Hp/507TQ on only 9PSI???

Well, it seems a little over the top to me... but I can't help but thinking it's possible. I'm sure it would take a pretty radical H/C/I setup and every bolt on and a few other things. Any chance there came a dyno sheet with the numbers?

picked up another pony for the stable friday...(pics 56k warning)

My buddy had a 99 Cobra that I got to drive on several occasions. It sure was a pretty potent ride and revving it up to redline was a pretty sweet treat, but I came to realize as he did that as it was pretty good in the corners, the IRS made straight line fun more difficult and less predictable...
