    that's only 80lbs heavier than what the rags said it would weight for a 5 speed one... were you powershifting at all????, i know the car could probably have that brand new car smell, but it could make a diifference,and like you said, let her cooldown and she would reward you.. good luck man.

    torque is not the only thing that matters, ask the m3 guys, you would be surprised :) also, i wonder why the lt1's were not low 13 sec cars in stock trim???? tq would make you move, but hp would keep you moving... and the more you have... the faster you'll go ....

    the 05 GT won't pull like a mach 1 stock vs stock simply because the mach has more steem up top. stop comparing power on both cars, one represent the best of the old N/A platform, the other represents the future of a new technology on the bottom end platform, it would be wise to compare the old...

    dude, better doesn't mean faster :) thinking it would be faster won't make it faster, but we would find out really soon.... i don't see why it should be faster, close HP numbers, but the mach is still making hp at 6100rpms, better Torque Curve on the 05 GT???, yes, but the lt1 is even higher...
