do bigger alternators mess stuff up?

The current won't mess up anything as long as you upgrade the wire that goes from the alternator to the solenoid to 4 gauge or larger. The alternator still only puts out 12 volts, it just puts out more amperage. And there's not 3 wires that have to be upgraded. You just have to run ONE new...

do bigger alternators mess stuff up?

Don't waste your money on another stock alternator. It's just going to die on you again anyway. Get the 130-160 amp and the wire to install it. I've done this to both of my foxes and i guarantee you'll be happier in the long run. Besides, it won't cost much more than a crappy stock replacement.

Appearance mods for less than $150

Does it have to be exterior appearance? If not you could get some billet aluminum pieces for the dash/doors or some aluminum pedals. Tint is another really good suggestion. How about a new leather steering wheel or a nice new shift knob? Maybe some pony logo carpet mats?

    10 in woofer under seat

You definitely won't fit a "normal" 8" or 10" sub under the seats. The Subaru WRX has a sub under the passenger seat. I'm not sure what size or how it sounds but you might be able to retrofit it into your car. There's also this Panasonic which seems to be pretty similar. I doubt it sounds...

Appearance mods for less than $150

I think if i were you i'd save teh $150 and wait until i could afford new lowering springs. That's going to make the most difference in how your car looks and will give you better handling as well.

Took alternator about 30 seconds to start charging on startup?

I'll also recommend the 3G alternator upgrade. I've done it on both of my foxes and have no regrets. Best money i ever spent on them. As for your problem, it could have been caused by simple belt slippage. If the belt was wet it could have just been slipping for a few seconds. Check your...

    alternator check

I assume that when you say you "wasnt getting and electrical signals" that means that the battery was dead. IE: nothing electrical would work (dome light, instruments, radio, etc). I also will assume that you didn't leave the lights on or anything like that. If that's the case, it's very...

$2500 to spend on tired pony help me rebuild my motor...

If your engine burns oil i wouldn't bother wasting time doing a compression or leakdown test. If you had good ring seal (good compression) you wouldn't be burning oil. You're going to need to rebuild or replace the engine.

    Flat black paint

You might consider using a vinyl overlay instead of paint. It's easier to remove if you end up not liking it and will probably be cheaper and easier.

I NEED to run a 14.1 quarter mile, How?

Read this article. It's got some great ideas and should have you running 14 flat pretty easily with minimal investment, especially with the mods you've already got. http://fordmuscle.com/archives/2000/08/lx/index.shtml Make sure you take advantage of all the "free" (and really cheap) mods...

Larocca's doesn't know how to fix my 93. WTF????

I read the whole thread but i don't think anyone has suggested this: Put the off-road H-pipe back on the car and have it emissions tested as-is. This should give you a good idea how the engine is running and what could be causing The Smell. Once you figure that out and can get the emissions...

    single carbon fiber interior pieces

The only REAL carbon fiber pieces i've ever seen for a Mustang are one-off custom pieces. If you really want carbon fiber, you'll probably have to make it yourself.

Larocca's doesn't know how to fix my 93. WTF????

If i were you i would get your car back ASAP. If they can't fix it in three months and several thousand dollars, it's never going to happen. Personally, i'd take the car to a different shop with a dyno and wideband EGA. Either that, or take it somewhere that can give you a good exhaust gas...
