    You mean you're wondering if it's a hydraulic roller or just a regular hydraulic (flat tappet) cam? Flat tappet cams have lobes that are more "pointy", while rollers have a more rounded lobes. You could always ask FPS.

    Sorry, it's of course called, PCV, not PVC. Switching the valve covers may work, but that puts your oil cap in the opposite corner of the engine. Don't know if that's a convenient place.

    I think 1 3/4 would be the better choice. Look at it this way: a 1 5/8" header on a 393 is like a 1 3/8" header on a 302. I think most would agree this would be way too small for a performance 302.
