    What color is the oil? If it looks residual it is more than likely tyranny fluid from your fanny cooler! If you have an automatic that is.

    You can get a stock replacement at oreillys for around $90 until you get your 3 core. In my opinion it isn't worth trying to unclogg one. Its just a matter of time before it does it again. Good job on figuring it out though!

    Have you radiator cap pressure tested! People don't realize this but your cap plays a big a part in your cooling system. Then check your fluid levels, and check your mixer with a hydrometer. You can pick one up at an auto parts store for around $5 or less. If your still have problems after all...

    The more air and fuel you can get into your motor the better the volumetric efficiency (your engines ability to breathe). Which means better performance and more power.

    The timing will stay the same, most carbed fuel pressure regulator are adjust from 4 1/2 to 9 psi. Carbs work best around 7ish.     Try getting your radiator cap tested and pressure test your system. You should test your t stat before you put it in to make sure it operates properly.

    I put a new front bumper cover on along with, new radiator, and fan shrod, mechanical oil and water temp gauges, and flushed the radiator!

    So I got a fan shroud from a 3.8 and trimed it a bit and it fit just fine. So for those that have helped me out thanks guys. The cooling issue is now solved! Plus I even picked up a front bumper cover and replaced that too!
