    I say run 10 as well. You can tell a diff in torque at low rpm's w/ the timing advanced, but it's not worth the power you can get w/ the extra boost from 3k on. I dabbled all around your question when I've tuned. About the only time I run more timing is autoxing. I'll put it at 14 and...

    It has had a FMIC for about 2 years. I was just using a TC IC. I put the volvo in a few weeks ago. Just doesn't ping now under a hard beating whereas the TC IC would allow some pinging in hard pulls. Doc, I'd recommend you buy some header wrap off ebay for cheap and wrap the cold side pipe...

    My local bud runs 18 no problem w/ his SVO w/ a TC IC in the stock location. My svo w/ a Volvo IC runs 20 w/ nary a ping. Both on premium.
