    Just before my last race, I started the car and no oil pressure, tickin lifters. Shut it down and pulled the distributor to find my oil pump drive shaft twisted like a licorice stick. (BTW, I used a prestone anti-freeze tester hose to pull the broken shaft.) Ok, so my pump is seized up...

    I'd like to take the Koni SA struts and shocks from my 90 GT and put them in my 95 GT. I know the numbers are different but it looks like they would swap. What would the effect be? Anyone ever try this? thanks :nice:

    Added Koni SA (yellows), MM CC plates and MM swaybar poly kit this weekend. Springs are stock. Wow, the car is stiff, but on the road they don't feel bad at all. My 200 lbs can't budge the fender when the konis are max firm. For those of you with this combo, is this the norm? BTW the MM...

    GOTIT. Thanks for the input. Here's what I did: From the bottom, you can see the plastic retainer that 89MustangGX spoke of. Use a screwdriver and hammer to push the retainer out allowing access to the hardware on top. Use a 5/8" wrench for the nut above and a 1/2" deep socket below...

    Swaybar removal

    I changed the endlinks on my swaybar, then tried to change the bushings. I can't get the bushings off. The nuts on the top side of the bolt just spin and I can't stop 'em. Thanks!

    I think I can use that muffler, (or one a bit smaller), to make my own side exhaust. That will make the PHB much easier to install. Surely someone out there has done this before :shrug: (Oops, sorry, called you Surely)

    Do you know of someone who makes a high performance muffler that would fit a fox-bodied stang that looks like this? thanks :hail2: The muffler pictured is for a camaro and is 15" shell length, I believe ours is a 13" length.

    I'm no expert, but here's what I've learned from looking around. The quad shocks work in conjunction with the UCAs to help prevent axle wrap-up. Some people have taken them off without any known effects, though I'd say that the UCAs are taking it pretty hard and maybe even the torque boxes...
