    Faltering Saleen

Well, I'm going to check my paperwork from Fritz Ford and see if they replaced the Filter. If they didn't then I'm going to buy one, along with a new fuel filler hose, because I got pulled over while hauling through the mountains by someone saying I was throwing gas out the rear end every time I...

    Faltering Saleen

You know, I was wondering about that too but when my brother said he had it do it to him a little back in Cali I figured the altitude might not be the problem. Then again, I dunno if you have to retune these cars when you change altitudes like you have to retune and rejet a carb.

    Faltering Saleen

N/A 4.6L No work done to the motor beyond a cold air intake and a chip. Only other mods to the car beyond Saleen are a Detroit Tru-trac and 4.10 gears. No Check Engine Light ever turned on.

    Roush 01' S281 Mod Ideas?

Well, I just recently inherited a 2001 Saleen S281. Now the mods that I know it has done to it are just a Detroit Tru-Trac and 4.10 gears. It might have been tuned, it might not have. Anyway, I was wondering what your opinions were for some of the first mods to it. I want to keep it as Saleen as...

    ECM Programming

Hey, Has anyone ever used a Mototron ECM programming unit? it completely deletes the ECM and you have to program everything yourself. I've just been given the assignment of getting a 2.2L Ecotec I-4 running using that unit and my experience with engines has only been with my 65 Fastback and...

    What gears do you have?

289, T-5 Manual Trans, and 3.89 in a Detroit Locker ... as far as RPMs, couldnt tell you. I've never had a tach in the car, I just go by sound and feel. But I'll tell you what. 3.89's feel REAL GOOD, especially with a locker in a 9"
