    cool build....IMO i would go with the Trickflow cam of the two....that other one has ALOT of duration that needs more compression than what you're planning to run...could be problematic in a "street" car

    yeah,some got on the front of the engine when i pulled the old water pump off,and of course on the radiator when i purged the air out of the system

    Recently put a water pump on my stang and now everytime the car is driven and parked there is a strong antifreeze smell coming from it.Ive looked all over the engine for leaks and couldnt find one,im also not loosing ANY coolant....wheres the smell coming from?

    Well apparently it was the pump....i installed a new 190 in it and it fired right up....thanks for all the help/advise guys!

    i didnt see any but i could smell it......and when i turned the key on,i never heard the pump

    finally put a fuel pressure gauge on it,and.......nada......showing "0" psi......so i guess its time for an upgrade.....

    probably impossible with the window down.....its been a few years since i changed one....maybe you could unblot the "arms" from the glass and pull it up manually out of the way....:shrug:

    thats what i was thinking....i bought a fuel pressure gauge and will test tomorrow....ill also check for codes......thanks for all the help guys!!!:nice:

    I pushed the valve in at the fuel rail and gas did come out but just dribbled......i also tried cycling the key a few times but it didnt help.....the pump came on on the first time i tried to start it but it wasnt a high pitched whine,more like a growl ....sort of....also the CE light is not on...

    Bought the car about 3 weeks ago....124000 miles,BBK cold air and MAF,stock exhaust with no mufflers(previous owner).....drove the car to work Fri. morning and ran fine,got off work that afternoon and started the car but it kinda stumbled a bit and died,now it wont fire AT ALL...turns over...
