    anyone have the GT-40 X heads

    My friend has them and when he tore his engine down for a rebuild found a bunch of valve guides completely wiped out with like 50k mileage on the heads. They are a decent head but theres definitely better for the money. Id try and find Twisted Wedges for that price imo

    MM&ff has been pretty good with fox coverage lately. Their tech articles are superior to anything else out there bar none. I find their modular coverage interesting too. I jus feel that there shouldnt be any reason to ever stop Fox coverage because theres always new parts coming out for 5.0's...

    Stupid but..how many quarts on an oil change??

    Ford recommends 6 qts, thats what was on all the ford literature i received from ford as well as its in the owners manual. Ford never said 6.5, someone jus said there specific dealer recommended 6.5. Jus fill it with 6 and youll be fine. What is so confusing?

    100 bucks says its your iac. Remove the iac and spray it real good with carb clean. Put it back on and the engine will probably idle alright. IF not replace the thing. We replaced iacs at my old job (Ford tech) all the time, for that same concern.
