    Slotted rotors or standard would be my choice. Drilled is mostly for looks, if you're not racing at sebring or something. But knock yourself out if you like em.

    How about some new heads? Another intake probably won't make the power jump you want without the help of nice flowing heads. I don't think working the 289 heads will get you where you want either. Was your shortblock a stock rebuild?

    Also if you want ported e7 heads, Thumper460 on this site is in florida and does wonders with the stock 5.0 heads from what I gather. I forget his site adress but look it up through the member list. You might want to go that route too.

    My pops is only 48 but is already showing signs of failing health, 30 year smoker. I try to spend as much time as I can with him now and make the best of the time I have with him. I can't imagine how hard it must be to lose your dad but that's life I guess. My condolences to you and yours.
