if you need them....here they are

I've realized that being a human being again in the credit world is MUCH more important than running like a raped ape down a dragstrip. Bobby :flag: Not so sure about that. :D

    Tourque Converter

The converters they sell from B&M and TCI for the II run in the neighborhood of about 400-450. So I'd say reconditioning is the way to go. It cost me $250 to have mine beefed up and made to a 3000 stall.

Jeff, How are those Hookers? Do you have stock heads? I have Blackjacks but they leak like crazy on the passenger side. The're not so great with the after market heads.

    347 STROKER

I have a similar engine. I have the Ford Racing 347 short block. With the RPM airgap manifold and the xe247. Agent orange is right the FMS stroker has hypereutectic pistons and forged rods. Although, unless you're gonna juice it, I don't think the forged are necessary. I also agree with...

    Redfire stripes for Torch Red?

Any good body/paint shop should be able to do a nice job for you. They'll get you the right paint. The white on torch red will look great. I would definately go with the silver on the sonic blue. Again for the metallic factor.

Carburetor mount hoist bracket - strong enough?

I've used this bracket a number of times with no problems. A friend of mine used it on his big block Chevy with no problems as well, with the aluminum intake.

Should I be able to hit 13's?

Look. What compression ratio are you running? I can put this setup in my desktop dyno. I ran it with 9.5/1 and your torque really starts to come in at at 2500-3000 rpm. (320) the torque peak is 365 at 4000. Horsepower peaks at 6000 (375). Those are high rpm numbers. I would definately go...

Should I be able to hit 13's?

A little more gear wouldn't hurt but you definately need a stall. Don't know if more cam will make that much difference with 289 cubes. It'll probably just idle rougher. The bigger you go with the cam, the more torque you're giving up.

    Polished vs Chrome

Here's those same rims in chrome. By the way, just for the record, I don't plan on letting my dog p#$% on my Mustang.

    Polished vs Chrome

The chrome are more expensive but shinier. The only thing about the polised is that you'll have to rub them out every so often to keep the shine. After watching by brother re-polish his rims every other week with the Mother's, I spent for the chrome. I'm not disappointed.

Things just keep getting worse for those who have ordered...

I believe that this is for dealer orders on unsold cars. Not sold cars on order. What this says is that if a dealer puts in an order for 05 Stang GT's for lot inventory, that they can't order that interior package till January. I think if you ordered your car and they're building it for you...

    Anyone catch this?

Not only does the GT have 300 hp but it's available with a 5-speed automatic as well. Priced at about 25k, Ford has really hit the nail on the head with the 2005 Mustang.

    Anyone catch this?

By the way, did you hear that Ford has come out with an all new Mustang for 05?!?!?! The GT version has 300 hp. As a matter of fact, I think there is an entire forum on Stangnet dedicated to discussion about the 05 Mustang.

Opinions Of Trick Flow "High Port" Cylinder Heads?

Trick Flows are great heads but flow numbers show that the AFRs are the best flowing heads on the market. They are 100% CNC ported.

    Redfire stripes for Torch Red?

. Ah no no no. :nonono: The metallic stripes on a solid color will look terrible. I've painted a lot of stripes. Trust me on this.

My Engine is Out of My Car...All of the threads

You should ask them for a rebate on all the gas you're using in that gas guzzling SUV. Your Stang would get better mileage.
