Anyone else have problems with Nov 06 issue of MM&FF?

I just bought MM&FF and was just doing a quick skim through it when I realized pages 67-98 are in the magazine twice AND pages 99-131 are completely missing! Has anyone else experienced this for this issue? Or did I get the one screwed up print job? I emailed their customer...

Short throw shifters worth the cash?

I love my Steeda Triax. Crisper shifts, faster shifts. Well worth the money and I am pretty sure any of the major brands is just fine - more of a preference thing.

"Rev Limiter" feeling @ ~2500 RPM w/ Blower Installed

IT IS FIXED!!!!! Sorry for the delay...been VERY busy with work and haven't had time to work on it...plus I picked up a motorcycle, so yet another distraction. Well, here is the point where I explain why it was running like crap...and also admit stupidity/mistake. I am pretty certain...

    PMS..Need help with idle

Yep. Replace or clean out your IAC, tweak the idle screw on the throttle body. Should fix it. But as you said, didn't happen before the PMS...so may be a setting in there. Did you get it new or used? Mine was new and did not result in those issues on my '93 LX. Good luck.

to everyone who cant afford an electric fan..

What is the point of the spacer...and with a reverse blade, is it not pushing air into the radiator instead of sucking in into the engine bay?

    Battery Relocation issues

Yep. Ground it to the chassis. You should be set then.

    supercahrger!

Depends. Long term outlook is good to keep in focus. I went the route you are considering though, Novi 1000 on stock block with hand full of bolt-ons. Once I find time to get it tuned, it will be killer. Plenty to keep me happy until money comes along for a 331 or 347. If you are picking...

331 shortblock : CHP or DSS

Yep. I considered going the DIY route...then realized how much in tools it would be, PLUS my time is valuable (self employed, so if I can work on a client's project instead of an engine, I'd be losing money). Good luck. Can't go wrong with Rick. But if for some reason you want a "big name"...

What are the best budget shocks and struts for a 88 LX?

I love my Tokico HP Blue shocks/struts (and springs). I found mine at an amazing price on eBay. Had them for over a year and love them!

    Air/Fuel Gauge ?

I like the custom dash...and the Kroger Plus card, lol. EDIT: The new O2's were cheap enough that I just bought replacement ones a while back since I knew the ones on there had seen WAY too many miles.

    Air/Fuel Gauge ?

Yeah...a light show, that's it. Get a wideband if you want to monitor Air/Fuel. Otherwise, pretty pointless. And no worries - a LOT of widebands allow you to wire analog or digital output to a standard air/fuel gauge, so you may be able to keep your present gauge.

Progressive rate springs stiffer than specific rates?

    Progressive/variable rate.

Video of some RNH Performance power at work....

Darn, video link is now dead...I heard about this in Tech... EDIT: Now it works 30 sec later...weird. EDIT 2: WOW! So fast the camera-man can't hold still!

Progressive rate springs stiffer than specific rates?

No problem. I've been happy with my progressive rate ones, but it all depends on how you drive it and why you drive (drag, track, daily driver, etc).

How much HP will Stock Fuel lines handle.....??

Quoting The Official Ford Mustang 5.0: Technical Reference & Performance Handbook : 1979 Through 1993: I hope that helps. N/A you can go longer with the stockers than with a power adder.

Both windows sqeaking when going up.

As we've said, WD-40, wax windows, etc. Sounds odd maybe, but it does work. That's your best budget method. Otherwise, spend the money on replacement parts. Good luck.
