    No, I'm going to have him email me a tune (just like MPH does), install the s/c, load the tune. Then soon after that i'll prolly make the 4 hr drive up to his shop to fine tune it on the dyno. You act like i dont have anything planned out if i get a sc...never doubt me son.

    Well, i asked what the price would be for a mongoose w/o xcal and tune and they told me -$235. Making it come out to $3665. Another place has it for $3100. I'd just have to pick up a L maf and some new plugs. About an extra $150, so $3250.

    grrrr....I dont need a tune! I have free retunes from Amazon. If I didnt already have an xcal or tune, I'd be all over the Mongoose kit. As long as I get a complete s/c kit, I dont care where it comes from.

I personally don't care what brand something is (as long as its not highly mechanical, i.e. im not going to buy a walmart tranny if they ever decide to make them).     I have that bookmarked. That requires me to buy a used s/c and piecing together the rest of it. Could i do that if i had $1500? Yes. Can someone that has no knowledge of cars do that? No. Thats why I'm looking for NEW COMPLETE KITS.

    That "knob" you speak of has been out since 05...08s are out now. That was 3 years ago, catch up with the times man. And i always experimented with mine and didnt notice any difference. I always left it in auto.
