    How is the condition of the underbody? Did you factor in the seats to the interior work? New upholstery and carpet will make 40yo seats look even worse... Tires?

    Front-left wheel only. Don't wheel bearings usually make a 'humming' sound. Also, this all started after she had a shop do the balljoints...any coincidence?

    Hoping you guys could help me out with this GFs car has a chirping sound coming from the wheel over 2k rpm. Applying the brakes does not make the sound decrease. Before this, it made a 'whoosh, whoosh, whoosh' sound through first gear, but not after. I haven't had a chance to look at...

    the 'dinger' (that goes on when you open the door, and you have the key in) and the interior light won't come on. I'm thinking it's a fuse in the main computer panel. will investigate further.

    I missed some info. Before I had wrapped all of the connections, I tried to turn it on to see if it works. It turned on, and all seemed well. Then I moved it a bit and the unit said 'failure' (as it does when you turn the volume up too high) and turned off. It won't turn on since.

    Trying to swap headunits. I've swapped the harness over and done all the wiring. Everything looks correct. The unit is getting power...and the ground checks out. The fuse looks good. It won't turn on though. Is there anything else I might be overlooking?

    Thanks Michael. I actually found them too. Unfortunately, due to the pearlescent paint, the rattle can for me is $40. I might just paint the one bumper, and wait on the rear until I respray the entire car. Should be able to get by with 2 cans for an entire bumper, right? :shrug...

    paintscratch.com has the exact tristage in a spray can. $50 a can though...eek. I'll probably need 4 cans to cover three bumpers....ouch. and it's still spray paint.

    I need to do a cheapo rattle can paint job on my Audi bumpers in a pearl white colour. I can't afford to have a body shop spray it, as it will be atleast $750 (not inculding prep). So what do I have as options? Is there even a pearl white available in a spray can?
