    My vote says keep it and restore it, but if you do decide to sell it make sure it goes to someone who will give it a good home I'd hate to see a good restoration candiadate go sit out in a field for another 20 years.

    I used POR-15 on my stang as well as my camaro, I've had good luck with it and would reccomend it to another. I've never used the plastic cote stuff so I really can't say, maybe someone else knows about it. For your header gaskets i'd reccomend a dead soft copper one for both the head to header...

    Get yourself a straigtedge and a tape measure and take some measurements are the only way to be sure. Following others peoples info is great for ideas/reccomendations but If there is any doubt the trusty tapemeasure should clear anything up.

    serpentine conversion....worth it?

    I did the serpintine conversion, I canibalized an old ford van for mine... everything bolted up fine, needed the reverse rotations waterpump and a spacer for the pully on it. I had to modify the D.S. power steering bracket as it was in the way for the vaccum advance on the distributer.

    I would say it really depends on what you want out of the car. If your just looking for a decent driveable car a 6 would be just fine and can even be made to run respectivly.
