Wide rear tires in the rain, good / bad?

It's a funny thing about tire size. The first three digits are the tire's section width from bead to bead, measured in millimetres, after the slash, the next two numbers are the percentage of that which is used for the sidewalls, after that, the rim diameter. Wide rear tires in the rain, good / bad?

Wider tires are always better, unless you're talking about snow. But yeah, the wet traction is more dependent upon the rubber compound and the tread pattern.

    Damn good #'s to have!

I was at the dyno today to get rid of hanging rpms. We did a baseline pull to check A/F. I gotta say, I was pretty surprised! Since my last run, I've put in an alum. d/s, smog pump delete, and "CAI". I also re-soldered my MSD, regrouned the motor, and got some new wires/coil. Anyways, she...

    Good afternoon for me!

I did a few things since my last dyno, namely to reground the motor, re-solder my msd, new wires and coil. Anyways I made just under 30hp more than last time! I got 293tq and 292hp at the wheels on my 5.0. All motor. Those numbers warrant a banana dance... I'm just not the banana...

Kidd Valley Cruise-in. 2008 official thread.

I like the idea for a cruise up. We should set up some south, east, north end meet up points. Perhaps southcenter, and maybe factoria?

    +1, I just dipped into the high 13's with big inconsistencies. Run's as follows: 12:12pm 14.101 @ 104.40 12:27pm 13.826 @ 104.98 12:40pm 14.133 @ 106.88 So basically, there's still a few tenths left on the table that I could wring out, then I'd have to figure out my habits so's...

I don't think I'd make it, I get of at 5:30pm, traffic is really heavy going east on 520 and 90, not to mention south 5 through seattle and 167 south. I wouldn't get there until like 7pm.
