    +1 I wouldn't even drive it until I knew why that Plug melted. Possibly pulling the timing makes sense, but doesn't really solve much.. Also, I don't get it though, the porcelin insulator doesn't even go IN the engine... If that's the only thing that broke, then I think you're alright...

    I wonder if the U-Joints are good, or if they installed them correctly?? I had a problem w/ U-joints that weren't round, they had flat spots on the spindles.. It wouldn't necessarily bind, but would vibrate like a mofo... JT

    Maybe I missed it, but do you have a Fuel Pressure Guage?? This may help determine if your pump is surging, or if it's getting a flaky signal... I'm not sure about this, but what about the TPS?? Doesn't the Auto rely more on the TPS for the Kick-down sensor?? JT

    RPMs with different gear selections?

    I have 3.73's, and at ~85mph, I'm at about 3k RPMs. I don't know if that's absolutely normal, since my Speedo is still acting flaky after the recalibration, so I may be going a little slower than that.... JT

    Have you tried pulling the plugs to see if they're fouled?? I'm thinking they will be, but if certain cylinders are more fouled than others, you may be able to start looking at things like igniters/coils... JT
