    You have to disconnect the shift linkage and pull the tailhousing off. If you don't know how to take it apart, I doubt you'll know what to look at inside.

    Again, there is NO ground wire for the starter. Period. You only need one wire going to the starter. It'll be a large cable (4 or 6 gauge) and go from the starter to the starter solenoid on the drivers side fender. It should be connected to the opposite solenoid post from the battery.

    Uhm, the starter doesn't have a ground. It smoked because you shorted it. Do you have an old style large starter or a smaller late model mini starter?

    No, you need either a properly calibrated mass air meter, a custom chip, or some kind of tuner (Tweecer). The chip or tuner route is a much better way to go.

    Nittos are much better in the rain and last a lot longer. They don't hook quite as well as BFGs but at your power level 275/50-15 Nittos DRs would work just fine.

    The MT ET Street Radials should be an awesome tire, but they aren't available yet. If you need a tire right now, BFG DRs are also a great street/strip tire.

    That cam won't make power over 6000 rpm in a 347. The advertised power range is for a 302. The stock fuel cutoff is 6250. IMO, your power peak will be around 5500 rpm. As for extending your rev limit, the 6AL won't do that. All it does is provide a much safer and more reliable rev limit...

    Yes, get them wet before the burnout. Dry burnouts are stupid, plain and simple. With 4.10s, you should be doing your burnout in second gear. Keep the rpm up above 4000 and hold it until you see smoke in the rear window.

    22-25 ft-lbs. Torque the inside bolts first, outside last. Go through the whole sequence three or four times until they're all tight.

    Wow. Yeah, maybe your tires were spinning on the drum. I dunno. You've got a nice combination going. IMO you should see at least 350 rwhp, probably more like 370 rwhp with the right cam. That cam must really be holding you back. What are the specs on it?

    What kind of dyno are you using? Mustang Dynos typically read quite a bit lower than Dynojets. I'm betting you're using a Mustang Dyno or something similar that reads low. Have you run it at the track?
