    Out of what you listed, the only things you need are the HEGO sensors. The EEC needs the O2 sensors to adjust the a/f ratio.

    I run a similar setup to the motor in that article and use the Holley Systemax 2 intake. IMO, it's the best intake around for a below 6500 rpm 302/6.

    Also, I'm not real familiar with carb intakes, but how does the Torker II compare to the Vic Jr? I'd think a Vic Jr would be the right intake for you.

    The X cam won't make power to 6200 in a 342. It's gonna fall flat around 5500. I agree with you that stock TWs are holding you back. I had my TWs ported by Brian Tooley at TEA and am very happy with the results. He does excellent work. The Track Heat springs are fine for an X cam...

    Holy crap dude, why is it so hard for you to admit you're wrong? Everybody who has ever owned or wanted an SVO knows about the 85 1/2 model. Guys like you who don't know anything about SVOs don't have a clue about it. That's ok, but at least listen to people who know SVOs.

    Some of you guys don't know jack crap about SVOs. You should keep your mouths shut when you don't know what you're talking about. Two examples: Obviously you don't know any SVO people. :chair: 100% WRONG. Injectors, headlights, EEC, intake manifold, turbo, mufflers, and tailpipes...

    Your motor absolutely needs 3" exhaust. I switched from 2 1/2" to 3" and gained power from 3700 rpm up with my NA 306. It was down 10 ft-lbs at 3000 but up 10-15 ft-lbs above 3700. Peaked at 363 ft-lbs at the wheels at 5200 rpm.

    Ask Ed which rockers to run. He designed the cam based on what rocker ratio you told him you were going to use. For optimum performance, you need to use the rockers it was designed for.

    I have mine mounted upside down like gt90stang said. Not trying to be a wiseass, but you just need to try harder. It will fit.
