    New S197 for me!

That's the part that scares me, is having to retune for so many changes. I changed all kinds of stuff on my old 5.0 without having to touch a tuner.

    New S197 for me!

THANKS! I'll be doing LOTS of reading. Done plenty of wrenching on cars, but have yet to touch a modular, so it's gonna be interesting.

    New S197 for me!

Yes it has. Exactly the look I wanted, looks even more like the late 60's stangs that I love so much!

    New S197 for me!

LOL, already ordered a decklid blackout panel and chrome trim for the taillights to break up all the red back there. Next up, MGW Shifter with B&M Hammerhead T-handle.

    I've left the fold

Sold the GTS a few weeks ago. HATED to see her go:( On the plus side I just picked up an '06 GT. Needed something reliable, the GTS had been mothballed for 5 years, and my truck was nickel and diming me to death. It was time to make a change. (Meanwhile most people are probably thinking, WHO the...

Us old elephants don't forget. I just sold my GTS, and picked up an '06 GT so I'm getting back in to the swing of things now....

    New S197 for me!

Just picked up a 06 GT with only 7K on the clock. Lots of the old timers will remember me, for those that don't, I was strictly a pushrod guy. I'll be using search as much as possible, but forgive me if I ask the random dumb question....

    Possible purchase tomorrow...will I wish I hadn't? Tranny ?

Actually I could have financed it, but not at a payment I was comfortable with on top of what I'm having to pay out right now because of the divorce. This would have been my first foray in to the 4.6 world, let alone the S197s...what's the deal/difference with the plugs? I still plan to get...

Don't even have to worry about it now, can't get financed for pretty much anything I'd be willing to buy. Thank u divorce!

    Possible purchase tomorrow...will I wish I hadn't? Tranny ?

I'm in a situation where I pretty much have to buy a car in the next day or so. I was looking at Ford Fusions, but happened upon an '05 GT. The only problem is, it's an automatic. I'm one of those that said I would NEVER buy a car like this with an auto, but I'd much rather have a stang again...

    lookin for GTS doors

Unfortunately, whoever originally ordered mine got most of the power locks, windows, and AC.....would much rather have manual and save the weight. Not that it matters with the car not being driven for 5 years right now, but for the future anyway.

How are the winter projects coming?

My winter project was just getting my buddys truck done before winter and getting the stang out of the driveway and back in the garage....the stang among 2 feet of snow at the moment :(

    Rear main seal

I would just do the pan gasket. Can't be any harder than doing the seal, and if it's leaking in one spot, it may be ready to leak in others. Couldn't hurt anyway.
