    Electric Fan Install

Be sure the t-stat is open for valid functional testing. You won't want the fan to come on with the t-stat closed anyways.

    '94-'95 Catback In A '98?

Hey Harvey! You're right - it definitely is. That's not a biggie though.

    '94-'95 Catback In A '98?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone happens to know if a '94-'95 GT Mac Catback (looks like Flowpaths on there - the system is well over 10 years old) will bolt up to a '98 GT in any sort of nice way? I'm not sure how close they are to being interchangeable. I figure someone one here has tried it...

    Tech Write Up Idea

:nice: A consideration for this great idea would be to have the links connected to the organic source, so that as he updates or revises a given tech note, the link takes one to that most recent version. :)

Where To Get New Ps Pulley

Howdy folks, Quick question - I think the title outlines it pretty well. Any sources for a new power steering pulley that are not too pricey (Wazee and the other nice custom ones are a bit too costly)? I'd rather not have to hit a JY to buy a wasted pump just to try and get a used pulley...

    Coolant Temperature Sensor Install.

As you saw in earlier posts on the thread, there was confusion about what was being discussed (the ECT isn't a sender. In the post you quoted in particular, he referenced a sender). That was from 2005 so hopefully he figured it out.

    Electric Fan 90 5.0

The alternator needs circuit protection on the charge cable. The control side of the relay/controller, which is generally connected to accessory power, can go to the fusebox. The circuit-protected wire that supplies power to the fan motor needs to come from the battery or the battery-lug on the...

    Electric Fan 90 5.0

What controller do you have? Does it have a thermo-switch? We're assuming the control side of the controller goes to fuse 11 (the load side should be fused and come from the battery). Is this true?

Starting Issue: Starter Solenoid Or Starter?

Do you use a factory '88 starter or a piggyback solenoid version (aftermarket or later model)?

    Front Spoiler

Wrong nail. You have even more openings than an LX fox does. 94-95 GT guys in milder climates and/or using stock gauges don't often observe a difference.

    Engine Weird Cooling Issue

The rear port is slow to react since there is not good flow. The gauge might have been reading close enough before that it wasn't noticeable. As to what changed of late where there was more a difference..?? I'm glad you got it set-up to your liking. :nice:

    Front Spoiler

Some of the LX guys might not have noticed as much of a difference since they have some sort of grille opening (more than a GT has). :)

    Engine Weird Cooling Issue

Not that it's going to fix anything, but I'd try the AM in the front driver's side location. If nothing else, that's the more accurate location and where you'll want the gauge connected. The rear ports are kind of a deadhead, hence the increased temps. It's not unusual to see a 35* difference...

    Engine Weird Cooling Issue

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but there's no coolant line. There's just a plug installed in the port.

    Engine Weird Cooling Issue

All I can answer for is the stock intake (I'm not sure why an aftermarket unit would be different. Maybe someone else can speak to your particular intake). With regard to the stock intake, there's obviously a coolant port back there, but the issue is that the flow [back there] isn't very...
