    I typically use the following 1/4 inch drive stuff: ratchet 6" extension 10 mm snap-on mid well socket I've heard of others using a 3 foot extension and coming from in front of the k-member to get the top one out. Hey, if my wife can swap a starter on a 'stang, then so can you . . .

    Good info - he's exactly correct. Clutch swaps are still possible with the Bassani mid-lengths, as long as you remove the collectors with a slide hammer - easy.

    Bassani mid lengths! You do need to remove the collectors with a slide hammer, which is simple, then the tranny comes right out.

    if it's a 5 speed, it is not if you will break the stock internals, it is when . . . a note on D/Rs - use a 15" so that you have some sidewall deflection, NOT 17" like I did . . . BOOM, pushed off track with both axles snapped, flatbed arrived at 1 AM, $85 for 6 miles . . .
