And yes all I could thread into the balancer was the two bolts plus the center bolt. Is it necessary to have all three bolts plus the center bolt threaded.

Im stumped. The best I have so far is that I have two bolts threaded into the balancer along with the center bolt threaded. Now what do I do? I have all the bolts threaded and the balancer just spins, I dont get how I am supposed to remove it with the puller. Am I doing something wrong?

I must be slow but I cannot figure out how harmonic puller works. That combo yoke only allows me to put one bolt back in the damper plus the center bolt? The picture in the chilton and haynes has three bolts in the damper plus the center bolt. I dont get how it works...instructions suck.

Well after a day and half I got fed up and went to Checkers and bought a really nice impact wrench for 30.00. Come to find out I still need some additional parts to make it work which I did not have and unable to get because I have no car and I am watching my kids so to make a long story short...

Okay I got it. Now I am having trouble loosening the damper retaining bolt. Chilton states to use a holding tool for the flywheel, what tool can I use. Or should I try some lub and let it sit to see if it will come out.

With the belt attached will I be able to get the pulley off. Or am I just leaving the belt on until I have loosened it and then I take off the belt to to get everything else off.

My GT is automatic and I was told that the center bolt can be a real pain in the ass to take off. My question is should I try and take it off with the belt still attached or just put some of the PB plaster once I take off the pulley?

Well I finally got the overflow bottle and fan shroud off. That is all I really wanted to do today because the part wont be in until Monday afternoon anyways. I got a Pioneer harmonic balancer from checkers. I did a search I found that I need PB plaster, anti-seize, RTV or ATV for key groove...

Oh yeah...I did not even think about that. Autozone and Checkers is less than a mile from my house, no big deal. Hey Chris can you recommend where and what type of timing light to buy?

I found that Checker Auto Parts has the exact same part number for the harmonic balancer for 76.99 and Autozones price is 97.99. That is a big difference. I assume if it is the same part number and they are both pioneer that it is the same balancer. That is just a big difference in price...

Okay guys, well I think I found the problem. My harmonic balancer is out. I got under the car and saw the rubber sticking out of the side. So I am going to attempt to replace it this weekend. Hopefully it is something that I can tackle with your help. The only thing I need to know is if the...
