    The only reason I took it to Ford is cause I had my buddies dad tell me what he thinks at his shop. I just wanted to make sure he was right.....and he was!!! :rolleyes: I am thinking of getting a stroker engine put in. We are going to do it ourselves, so this oughtta be a learning experience!!!

    I am not quite sure how they determined that... :shrug: I called Brad's to get a quote on replacing the engine and the guy at Brad's said they put something down somewhere and it checks.... :shrug:

    Well....not a good day for me!! I just got "the" call from Evergreen Ford. "The 4th Cylinder wrist pin is undone and is warping the piston". The price to fix it........Priceless, for everything else there's Mastercard!! No, but seriously it is $6,750.....and that includes the new 4.6 engine...

    Alright guys.....problem solved!!!!! 4th Cylinder wrist pin is undone....and it has warped the cylinder. So in essence, I am looking at 6,750 to fix....and that includes the new engine.

    I'm blaming all this on my girlfriends fun day of driving from Woodinville to Renton in 3rd gear..... :bang: :mad: BTW, the car is at Evergreen Ford right now being looked into. Gerard, I will remember to get the exhaust extremely warm and then touch it. :D :rolleyes:
