do you wash your car cover?

I called Coverking, who makes my satin stretch cover, and they said rinse and air dry, no washing machine and no dryer. I'll just shake it out with the help of my wife and wash it by hand VERY carefully in spring. It is in indoor cover which is a bit dusty from a bit of ceramic tile cutting...

    Opinions on spacers needed

Would you (or anyone else who thinks this is a bad idea) agree that a 1" spacer will load the bearing exactly in the same way that a 1" wider wheel with all of the extra width outboard of the mounting flange?

why did you buy s197 vs. cobra

Cobra is uuuuggggllllyyy (IMO). I know the performance is there, but I just could bring myself to even consider it due to the looks. Just my opinion of course, but I like the S197 100x more than the Terminator.

    Opinions on spacers needed

Sorry guys I'm not seeing your point of view. Spacers, when either improperly installed, designed, or using inferior materials, are a very bad and dangerous idea. But when properly chosen and used, they can be safe in the long term, and work as intended. I often hear conjecture and...

    Opinions on spacers needed

I don't agree. On my Jeep I ran spacers for years in very challenging driving conditions with no issues. I plan to put some on my the rears of my GT this winter. IF you buy the 1" or 1.25" spacers, you bolt on the spacer which has new studs pressed into it. Then just bolt up the wheel to...

Really! Wow, I am going to have to look into that. I found Kevin's contact info on another forum and the writeup for it. Thanks in advance.

    Aftermarket Bullitt Dash panel?

What's funny is that is a preproduction Bullitt. Look at the steering wheel, it is a GT piece, not the all black (and totally sweet) Bullitt wheel. I still wonder whether or not I should just stop modifying what I have and get a Bullitt. Most of my mods are similar to Bullit stuff already...

    Aftermarket Bullitt Dash panel?

I'm very interested to see the follow up on that product. I wonder, is it a hard material which is formed and stick on? Or is it (more likely) a vinyl film (kind of like stripes material) which can be applied (very carefully) to each individual dash piece.

    Aftermarket Bullitt Dash panel?

I was going to do this because I like the Bullitt dash so much, but the cost was unreasonable. I only know this from a post from a while back detailing the part numbers and how to accomplish it. Over $1000 if I recall. I suppose I might do it in the future if I were to keep my Mustang long...

    mustang bullitt price help

I've had my eye on the prices for some time now on Bullitt models. The prices have come down some in the last few months, BUT $30k seems to be a decent price. Look on Ebay, there are about a dozen for sale now. If you get it for less than $30k, you did good, more than $30, a bit too much...

what is the best car wax ?

I had a liquid paste bottle of NXT, and used it just like my Mothers California gold. I used both with no sealer underneath, but usually after a full clay bar. I found that under similar conditions, the NXT would only last a week or so before not feeling slick on the finish anymore, where the...

what is the best car wax ?

Rejex as a protective base coat, Mothers California Gold for shine. Rejex is actually a polymer sealant. I have had VERY good luck with it. My truck (I don't drive the Mustang in winter) looked better than any other wax/coating I've ever used after a full winter driving in Michigan (salt...
