    I took my stang to get it inspected shortly after putting the catted X on and the guy told me that clamped on cats don't pass inspection...but he said he would pass me anyways because he liked my car. I think it was just BS because my friend's TA never failed because of his cats with his SLP Y pipe.

    Any 3.5" tips I have ever seen on a 94-98 looked almost too big. I think 3" is the biggest I would go if I had a 94-98. But that's just my personal taste. I guess you should make up your own decision once you find some pictures. Good luck.

    Yeah, everything up there is stock except for springs and shocks. I'm taking the car into the dealership tomorrow so they can tell me what's wrong. Hopefully it's something I can just fix myself.

    I've got the Magnapacks cat-back and want to know if I can swap the regular Magnaflow mufflers or maybe the new SLP Power-Flo mufflers into the cat-back.     Right-Rear Rattle - Help me identify what is rattling!!!

    I agree...check the area that goes over the axle and then check the tailpipes. My Magnaflow tips always come loose and rattle like a mother. Just need to get some thread locker on there one of these days.

    Agreed. I like to take my time the first time I ever do anything, just to make sure I do it right. It might be extremely easy for you mechanics, but for someone that's never installed an X-pipe, take your time and make sure it's done right (not that there's much to screw up).

    I need some input from other people that have a lowered mustang with an SLP catted x-pipe. Do your cats sit really low to the ground? I can't even have other passengers in the car or I shoot sparks going down the highway. Is there a fix that I don't know about? :shrug:

    2001 Mustang GT---$$$13,500?

    I was asking 12,500 for mine with 43k miles...didn't get a single phone call. Then I decided not to sell it. We've got similar mods though, but I don't think that should affect the price any.
