    MS cranking parameters

Stock ignition. It's the plug and play MS3 unit so no wiring changes were made. I am logging RPM but no matter what configuration I select it still shows Run:Y during crank. Engine starts and runs fine..was just an interested observation.

    T5 identification

I thought it was already installed in his car and he said he did it 14-15 years ago. Regardless. Moot point. All we can do is speculate at this point. Would need to drop trans and really inspect certain things to narrow it down. All we definitively know at this point was the case was...

    Upgrading to SN95 steering rack

Anecdotally speaking, I highly doubt anyone would be able to tell the difference between an 04 Cobra rack an 04 GT rack during normal street driving. Yes, on paper the Cobra rack has different parts that should translate to better feel, but is it enough to translate to better feel during...

    T5 identification

I am assuming OP did an simple swap when he installed it and dodn't need to do anything special. That alone suggests to me the trans is a mustang application, and since he did not mention excessive vibration and not changing pilot bearings it's likely not a 4-banger T5. I mean it could...

    T5 identification

Yes. Likely an 87-89 spec T5 rated for 265 ft-lbs. Of course, not guaranteed. Would need to open to confirm the gearset. Wasn’t uncommon to put the 90+ guts in these during a rebuild back when the gearsets were pretty cheap.

    T5 identification

There is a date code cast into the side case of the T5. While I realize at this point many T5s have been rebuilt a few times, so it’s not definitive, it’s one way to at least try to narrow down what year the T5 is front. The date code will be a circle with a 2-digit number in it.

That makes sense with regards to the conditions to operate. However the solenoid is just an on/off type, so using duty cycles won't make sense here. Either 100% or 0% is all you will get unless you change that solenoid out for something else. Perhaps i'll try this when i get some time. I...

    MS3 Pro

I did not reactivate it. The setup is still in place, but I have no command going to it to open and close it. I think I do have a spare on/off output. I think my hurdle was understanding the logic as to when to open/close it. The A9x logic that I have shows a very complex ladder logic that...

    MS3 Pro

If anything i think it just makes it an easier install for a newbie. Wiring in my WB controller was prob the longest part of my install. Now, with it being internal, you just need to splice in the WB to the factory harness and you are done. But you'd still need a 2nd if you wanted to run two...

    MS cranking parameters

QUick question for all you MS users. During crank, does your RUN condition = Y as well? Everything i read suggests this should be N until RPM exceeds my crank threshold. However every value i try still gives me a Y during crank. Is this typical?

    Suspension End link replacement size

I also did shorter end links when i lowered my car.

Looks like there's a new version of the pnp ECU's that now contains the wideband controller internally. So now you can wire in a Bosch WB directly.

It's at the upper end of the range. 1/8" total toe in is about 28 degrees total with a 245/45/17. 1/16" is about 18 degrees total toe. I guess the question is how much deflection do you expect in your rubber control arm bushings? The tighter they are, the less toe in. This is for a 2004...

Toe in is usually inner wear. Toe out is outer wear. It's due to the caster angle that these cars are set with. The tops of the struts are raked back so when the wheels tilt in, they kinda roll over the edge of the tire a little bit. Definitely go Cobra brakes. One of my fav mods on this...

When my hub was failing, it made a roar/thumping type noise, but I was never able to feel any movement in the wheel when i jacked it up and spun. No rough feel as well. I had to pull the rotor off and put my hands on the hub and spin it and that's when i felt the roughness. Tires can also...

    Security Check at each access?

I thought it was me too. Was trying to make a post and it was quite painful to do so. Pics wouldn't upload. Cloudfare checks, etc. Oh BTW I was unable to access Stangnet at all from the Bahamas.

Ok. Been pondering if I sell this thing or not. I might…I might not. I have a number in my head I would let it go at, but want to see if it aligns with others. If not….i keep it for another year. 2000 GT 5-spd convertible. 72K miles. Black, with parchment top and interior. No dash...
