WANTED: A HIGH FLOW H-PIPE WITH CATS

MRT, MAC, BBK, etc. Most of them make an H-pipe for your application. You need the same H-pipe that every other 99-04 mustang GT uses, just get the right one for your tranny type. Why not get a modular X pipe, like Basanni or SLP, where you can rmove the CATs when you want and add them back...

You seem to be missing a number of codes there!

    Check Engine Light Code

You should maybe get your codes run again and this time write them down. P1446 Evaporative Vac Solenoid Circuit Malfunction This is part of the EVAP system (mainly emmissions related), not sure why you would get this code and a lean code at the same time unless it was two different...

    Spark plug lawsuit

Maybe you should go look at some of the truck boards. many people have tried this and no one has been successful doing so. Most people loose a plug after the warranty period and it does not happen as often as you think. You read about it more on the boards b/c people that it happens to want...

2001 GT metal brake line (rear)

Get it repaired. Ford only sells that as an assembly (it includes the Fuel line, EVAP line and brake line) and it runs $250+. I had the joy of having to replace a section of the EVAP line. Very easy to fix if you have the tools and parts (tube cutter and bender if needed, and tube unions and...

How does an 02GT compare to a 350z?

:stupid: I have raced a few 350Z's (both 6spd and Auto in stock and light mods) and have Come out on top, even, and the bottom. What I have learned, is its all about who gets the jump. My GT is an auto w/ intake and o/r exhaust. But I also think mine is a factory freak, as I ran a 13.8*...

    O2 Sensors

did you re-oil the filter before you installed it? If so, I would start to lean towards a dirty MAF. You want to make sure excess oil from new or newly oiled filters is cleaned off. To clean your MAF, you can CAREFULLY remove it and LIGHTLY wipe it off using a Q-tip and 90% rubbing alcohol...

    O2 Sensors

If I were a betting man, something you did during the install is causing your problems. Like SVT said above, something loose or the MAF.

    O2 Sensors

More food for thought, it could be a dirty MAF, need to replace fuel filter, need to replace PCV valve. Just soem more things that will give you those codes. But I would start with looking for a vacuum leak.

    O2 Sensors

BTW, these are some of the codes you would normally get when an O2 sensor starts to fail. P0130 Heated O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 1) P0131 Heated O2 Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 1, Sensor 1) P0132 Heated O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1, Sensor 1) P0133 Heated O2...

    O2 Sensors

P0171 System Too Lean (Bank 1) P0174 System Too Lean (Bank 2) More than likely you have a vacuum leak. Bank 1 and 2 refer to the cylinders on each side. If I remember correctly Bank 1 is the passenger side, cylinders 1-4, and Bank 2 is drivers side cylinders 5-8. Have you done any...

I know I am dragging an old post back up here, but WhiteStang, what white face gauge set are you using?

    O2 Sensors

What were the codes given? Never trust the guys at autozone to diagnose your car. BTW, A lean condition could also be a vacuum leak and I would suspect that, since you are getting lean on both banks (if that is truly what the codes are)
