    3.73 or 4.10

    +1 Sprited but not prone to spinning unintentionally. 3.73s are a good match for stock sized street tires. If your thing is doing burnouts or other hooligan type things with your stang, the 4.10s will be more satisfying.

    Not to mention rim dings from pot holes. I happen to not like the hard rubber wheel look myself. I go with that works the best. Taller sidewalls help in Drag racing. Shorter sidewalls help keep the tread flat in the corners. But there is a limit to how far that benefit goes.

    Interesting invention. However my GTBs don't drone but I can hear them at times. Mostly during low RPM high torque driving. On the freeway they are very quite. But it is a mustang not a Lincon Town Car so I expect to hear a little engine sound.

    If you talking about the 2011 GT with its 6 speed. Were it me, I think I would opt for the 3.55s. Because of the lower 1st and Higher 6th, 1st will be like the 5 speed with 3.73s. And 6th would be like the 5 speed with 3.31s. Seems about right to me from how I drive my car. Spirited but not...

    From what? 3.31? That mod reduced my Highway MPG by about 8 to 10 Percent. In town its up to me. If choose gears which result in the lowest RPM, then I can get about 3 percent better mpg. But if I get aggressive, its 13% worse. The latter is hard to avoid. Hopping on the highway is more fun.

    3.31 Gears to 3.73?

    3.73 / 3.55 = 1.05 Its only a 5% change. If my car had some with 3.55s I would not have put in the 3.73s. But since I was sporting for the gear change, I went for the 12.6% jump instead of the 7%.
