    Take off the plates, put it on a trailer and take it to the shop. Tell them you are building it up for use on a track. I don't know if they would cross reference the vin to the registration though. But they could at least have the probable deny-ability defense.

    Stock pulley sizes? Alts regulate their output by adjusting the field current. Is there enough field current? But they do need a minimum RPM to do their thing also. Smaller pulley on the alt perhaps? Larger pulley on the balancer?

    No no no.... You eco-boost the v8 up to 540 HP or more. If we are going to talk up the value of turbocharging a V6 to respectable power, then we need to do the same for the V8. Its only fair.
