    headers with full cat back exhaust and 75 shot of juice, that has to put me over his stock 305hp , his weighs 3600 pounds too, mine 3300 at most. you guys here dont have no faith in these 5.0s.

    ya his is the 5.3 motor, most guys here dont know about this engine, they all think its a 6.0 or bigger, the 08 grand pries had the 5.3 motor front drive, it goes ok but i think mine will get him to 80mph. with my 4.10s, if it dont win, ill park it in garage and buy a real mustang , 2009 gt500...

    ok, new plan, 4.10s installed today, next month headers and full exhaust, then 100 hp nitrous kit. then ill race him. if all that dont beat him ill buy a g8. then i know ill beat him.

    you guys have no faith, his is all stock, goes pretty good but not really fast, with my 4.10s i know ill get him to 80 any way. even my wifes accord might even keep up with his for awhile.

    gxp forgot, his has front wheel drive. the g8 are rear drive. his motor looks funny sideways, never seen a chevy v-8 that way before, but it sure moves out pretty good.

    gxp model, not a g8. they even put this engine in the buick lacross. its a 5.3. 305hp. not the g8 gxp. he says 2008 was the last year of his motor.

    thanks guys, goinn with 4.10s, went for a drive in 1 today, a 90 gt. auto. 4.10s at auto zone today, that thing hauls butt, he used to have 3.73s. his has the short pulleys, headers, thats it.

    gxp not a g8 model. he has the 5.3 motor i think its 303hp. not 400 hp. i rode in it, its fast but not that fast, i would no way try to race a g8 400hp with mine. he is thinkinn about trading up to the g8. espelly if i whip his but.

    just looked up a car and driver road test on the gxp, 14.3 at 98 mph. 0-to60 5.7. my 86 gt according to car and driver did 15.50 and 7.30 to 60. mines a auto. it might be close race.

    around here in seattle its 60mph. but more like around 40 to 50 with all the traffic, so my 4.10s i hope will work out nice, on long trips we take my wifes new v-6 accord, i really like my 86 better, dont like driving a ricer, but its pretty comfy compared to my 86gt.
