    seems to me with all your mods it should be putting out at least 350 rwhp? i was thinking about doing about the same mods as you, hoping for at least 350hp, mabye ill think about going to looking at the 2003 cobras again, sure like my 86 gt looks better though.

    thats funny, my 86 if i leave off the line in 1st. it will hold 1st then i shift it up once and it holds 2nd till redline then shifts to 3rd. mabye i got some kind of shift kit? new to me.

    i was thinkinn mabye if it was a nice cobra even if its not a r model mabye sell my mint 86 gt , i think i can get 5.000 for it no prob. mabye talk the cobra down some, the cobra should be worth more down the road?

    ya time only thats what i have planed up, my tranny work then exhaust thats all. pretty happy just with these 4.10s, gonna take me a while to break these new gears in though, i dont drive it much, its hard to drive it slow.

    the only car compared to the shelby i like is the new cad. the one with the 556hp corvett motor. about the same money but iam a ford guy.

    good idea, they can do about any thing there, its a nice shop. they have a few mustangs in a lott of car magazines but i think ford will build one soon. hate to hack a new shelby up.

    yes he rebuilt the posi too. very good shop up here. ALL the mustang guys and girls take their rides there. they do it all, restos to new shelby mods too, my next car. too much work to get these little 5.0s to go fast, might as well get up with the newer mustangs, much faster.

    shelby 550hp this is very cool, much better looking engine compartment then the 2003 - 2004 cobras i think.

    4.10s and aod tranny?

    got my 4.10s installed today, its a tottally different car now, instant responce, really like the full throttle off line, hold it and when 2nd gear hits it chrips the tires pretty good, before with the 3.27s i got just a little bit, its never gonna see the track, just a fun sunny day cruiser...
