    Yes there is such a thing. Others might refer to it as limp mode. When the computer detects something that is too far out of wack it will run in a safe mode(similar to what windows will do when not shut down properly). Your O2 sensors are not running hot enough, so its throwing your emissions...

    Royal Purple or Amsoil

    Royal Purple is loaded up with sulfer additives. This will initially show a gain in power but after 750 miles or so..that oil is done. Eventually, if you ran it long enough it would just gum up the motor and leave sludge in the oil pan. So yes, the additives package is nuttin to brag about.

    The mufflers you have look just like mine. I have the regular cat-back on my 01 GT with stock H-pipe and headers. Its louder than stock for sure but its tame compared to others. I have about 3000 miles on my cat-back and it seems to be getting a bit louder as time gos on :D . Im happy with it...

    550 hp on the stock tranny is out of the question. You would want a full rebuild by a good tranny shop. Let them know what u wanna do with it and they will build it to your needs.

    Mobile 1 and Amsoil are some of the best. Royal Purple is the Devil. I think the Royal Purple's formulator has a medulaoblongatta problem.

    Front QA1 Struts blew... What do you think of the Bilsteins?

    A friend of mine shares your pain. He had QA1's and they also gave up the ghost as well. He switched to Bilsteins and has had no problems to speak of and I think when I replace mine Ill get some of em myself.

    Borla install

    I have the Borla on my 01 GT. Was easy to install..like last post..driver side pipe didn line up quite right but being ball and socket type of connection it worked out.. whoever or whatever is welding the exhaust kits needs to correct the misalligned weld on the front of the muffler.

    Superchips Programmer

    For anyone that was interested..Bought the Max Micro Tuner...was well worth the cost. Made a huge differance over stock tuning threw the entire rev range with no sign of detonation. I was also pleased with the trans tuning. I give it :nice: :nice:
