what do you think i should pay for this car. hes asking 8,000 and im thinkin more around 7,000. any other interesting details? has this been wrecked to your knowledge? any half a$$ jobs done on it motor or electrical wise? how bad and where was the rust?
cut it off huh...do i still need to install the plate or can i just bolt the throttlebody directly to whatever intake i end up using? is there any thing in the pcm that needs to be "fooled" or deleted. since were on the pcm/ecu what is there out there for tuners/editors and such?
i was thinkin of goin with the 5.0 msd ignition kit that jegs sells. has the msd pro billet distributor, msd blaster 2 coil, msd 6al ignition box, msd 8.5mm super conductor plug wires, and ngk v-power spark plugs.
ok yeah i see what your saying about the hypertectic pistons. my grand prix had those and i didnt have any problems with 11 psi as long as i kept the kr at bay.
anything i should know about the car? from what the guy that im buying it from said most everything on it was put on by the previous owner, not sure if thats you though.
id wait till you get it and then see what rattles and then go ahead and apply dynomat or some kinda foam spray behind the pannel or whatever it is that needs it.
what do you mean "enjoyed" like you no long have it, what did you switch to and why? any better suggestions? whats the deal with the pistons you were saying?
was looking at doing the holley systemax 2 top end kit for a first mod on my soon to be aquired 93 5.0. any other suggestions? i figure that should keep me happy enough while im doing suspension and driveline work to make this thing fit for a vortech.
