    Maybe you have already done this, I didn't know about it, Have you tried pushing the gas pedal to the floor when cranking it. This cuts off the fuel, and it might start right up. Mine does this every once and a while and it is in my tune, I need to go in and have my cold start parameters fixed...

    I have seen it done and the shakers only function is to cool down the kb which isn't so bad ! It was a gt with Mach I hood not cdc though

    I don't want to turn this into a kb versus vortec thread, but I was considering the vortec with the cooler option, nice looking and performing setup and I think very safe on the engine with a good tune, than I started to read about how the centrifical blowers don't kick in until 3000 rpm's or so...

    I hear it called drone around here a lot. I used to have a 91 lx vert stang and I had the 2 chamber flowmasters and they droned like crazy, it is worse with a vert. I changed to the 3 chamber flows, much better. i went with a magnaflow catback on my 03 cobra and 04 vert, mean sound at wot, but...

    I have the mac catted h and I have had no problems excellent sound, no leaks with my mac lt headers and magnaflow catback, it's not overly loud with the regular magnaflow catback, but I know the packs are louder. I think that the fact that it has cats will make it not overly loud, JMO

    I put a tranny cooler on mine and the chip tweaking of shift points and line pressure. I will be doing the j-mod in the near future. I read somewhere that the 4r70w is a lot tougher than the new auto ford is putting in the 05-06 mustangs

    If I did this I would go with the factory ford black color tubing, I would rather eliminate it than add something that doesn't need to be there.

    I got the canton coolant tank for Xmas and I was wondering what everyone was doing with the extra barb at the cap, my 04has one barb at the tank that goes back to the radiator and the new one has one at the tank and one at the cap, (below it on the neck) I have to get a different cap as well...
