Roush Anyone running 4.10 on their S/C

I had 373's in my car, kb 1.7 built block, blower cams, auto, and recently switched to 4.10's. First of all I'll say that I dead hooked with the 373's and bfg dr's, 1.80 60'. did not feel any spinning. I have yet to run with the 410's at the track, but they do feel awesome on the street, side...

    Show me your gauge setups!

define simple, do you mean simco? here are more autometer lunar, I like the guages in the pod so my passengers can watch the fuel pressure and boost, that and the fact that I could not find the pillar pod for a 04 vert when I put them in.

Lose The Rear Cats, Lose Torque.

I agree, some restriction aides in low end torque, but it will take it away in the higher rpm's.

    Need some advice on compression

IMO if the "built engine" has thrown a rod I would not place much faith in it's construction. I would plan on having to rebuild it again if you purchase it.

    What exactly is "claybar"

It is kneadable, kinda like silly putty if you remember that, it works really well, farly quick, maybe an hour or less for the entire car. You can just feel the little nasties coming off and afterwards the paint is super smooth

Putting Car away for a year to do overhaul and need some opinions

I agree with all of the responses above, wait to put the blower cams in with the blower, if your funds will allow the 2.2 kb would be the best option I believe like 46% of the people that buy the 1.7 want to upgrade in 6 months, (off of the kb site) the 410's are steep but with the blower cams...

    Gauge Pods?

I got my guage pod from summit racing and painted it to match, fuel pressure and boost, I could not find an a- pillar pod for the 04 vert at the time. I like the location because my brave passengers can observe the boost and watch the fuel pressure bounce around!

    Magnaflow or Magnapack?

I agree, they scream at wot, (you hitting the highway) and have a very nice rumble at idle (you in your neighborhood), and no drone. The stingers are a bit too harsh for me, but I'm old!
