    Improving Handling W/out Lowering??

Shocks. The stock dampers are way too soft. The dampers damp the up and down movement more effectively and thereby stop the car getting out of shape in the first place. SWay bars will resist roll but many softly sprung cars handle extremely well, it's all about controlling the body.

Tail Light Bezel - Stainless or Chrome Plastic?

I've got the chromed plastic. I think they look great with nice curved radius edges. I have seeen various metal ones and think they look more clumsy and can bend too. Once on, you can easily remove them but I don't think you'd want to. It has a 5 star rating on that site. I paired mine with a...

Looking for Leather E-brake Handle Cover

Redline were who supplied mine http://www.redlinegoods.com/order.sh...Mustang05shift However, I note that they now seem to have streamlined their operation to only shift boots but it does say they will custom make e-brake covers. I actually have the e-brake cover and the pattern wasn't...

    Springs

Not exactly but they're not too bad. I originally had it set on 3 all round but after some fast road use, I was getting a little too much body lean so stiffened it up. I use the stock sway bars and it just happens to be a good mix. They do trackdays over here but they're not cheap and certainly...

    Aftermarket Spring Installation

It's not that hard. Here's mine: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2177534/5 Sure, winding the compressors by hand spanner is tedious but what the hey, it's all part of the fun.

    Billet Grilles from Mr. Bodykit

I bought a bottom grille from ~Billet Grilles - Foryar and this was one instance where cheap did not sacrifice quality in any way and the shipping was cheap too which makes me suspect that other companies rip you off on shipping costs too.

    GT500 spoiler (what to buy)

Same here. Spoiler Store on ebay pre-painted satin silver. Match is perfect and quality excellent even after shipping all the way here to the UK. Believe me, I'm fussy and you'll not get better by paying more.

    Springs

I have Tokico D-Specs set one turn off hardest. They do a great job of body control and although I haven't adjusted them since I fitted them 3 years ago, they are just rigght for my use and I always have the option of changing it to softer. I chose the Roush blue springs which are excellent...

Who here is going to buy the new camaro?

Judging by the looks of the 2010 Mustang, it doesn't appeal to me at all. If I was changing, it would be for a Camaro SS but then since my 05 still has under 10k on the clock, it's staying. In a few years, I'll be looking for a new-model CTS-V as I'll have 3 kids by then so the Mustang and...

    Caliper Covers

No and no. If it was a daily driver and the brakes got very dirty, I can see the attraction but I painted my calipers for about $14 and, to my eyes, it looks better.

    Corsa Touring #14313 - opinions?

I started off with Corsas but they weren't really loud enough and damn, they're heavy! I changed mine out for a custom-made system and you know what? No real drone either, just a little more volume (maybe not enough...). http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2177534/6

post pix of silver stangs w/STRIPES

I've just seen a silver with blak stripes and I don't really like it. I'd go metallic grey. I'm not sure about colors but a dark metallic blue might work. Anyone ever gone completely retro and considered Martini racing stripes ? :)

    Camaro owners.......

You shouldn't lump all Camaro owners in the same category. Idiots buy Mustangs too. I've had both. My 1998 Camaro auto had an FIPK intake that basically just sucked hot air but at the track ran an easy 13.8 @ 105.2 rolling it off the line (as the mo-fo wouldn't grip on the slippery track so...

    300hp Camaro....V6

Hey, you guys are hilarious. All this GM and Ford loyalty is clearly ingrained but the whole point of a market economy is you buy the best car you possibly can for the least money. Instead of bitching about cars, you should all be ****-a-hoop that the US is producing a whole range of muscle...

new models and new engines....what gives?

From the spy shots of the new Mustang, I can't help but think they may have ruined the design but will wait and see. I do like the Camaro however and I anticipate prices will be competitive because they've clearly saved money on the interior.

    Can I take a new m3???

The M3 runs 12's and is a fine handling car. Surprisingly, perhaps, here in the UK we have had some defections to Saleens from the ultimate M3, the CSL and one guy who sold his Saleen (with 500hp), bought an M3 CSL and a year later bought his Saleen back. Why? Because the M3 was too easy to...

    lighter wheels

A lot of the weight is in the bigger tires. I have Weld Racing Forgestars and they seem really light until you stick a 275 on it when suddenly each corner weighs 10lb more.
