    I bought a digital code reader from Kragen auto parts for around 29 bucks, one of my better investments. CEL comes on I just dump the codes myself, makes it easy. :shrug:

    Yeah, I think you misunderstood your self. And if not, I don't know why anyone would want to put a switch on your alternator, but who knows, I'm new.

    Weird Check Engine problem...

    Dump the codes, if you dont' have a code reader goto Autozone or something they can do it for you. Same kinda thing was happening to me when something was up with my MAF. The codes will tell you what's wrong.

    Some small junkyard around the way, I've known the guy for awhile, don't know if he gave me a break or what, but yeah 10 bucks.

    10$ -> Fan 10$ -> Relay 3$ -> Toggle switch. 10$ -> 200 AMP circuit breaker. Pretty much it, I already had all the electrical wiring I needed, and miscellaneous things like a soldering iron and stuff like that.

    Pretty much usin' 8 guage all around, except for a few spots. I.E Toggle switch to relay, etc.

    RPMS dropping fast when I down****

    My speedo doesn't work, not plugged into the tranny. I need to get my lazy ass under the car and put it in there. Nevertheless, because of this I always get a VSS code when I yank my codes. My car dips in idle when I come to a stop but doesn't stall, I'm guessing that my IAC prevents that.

    Bought the diode, and another circuit breaker which makes two (200 AMPS) One for my alternator and one for my fan. Slapped the first diode on, fired up the fan and it blew the diode in half, I'm guessing I had it on backwards? I put another diode on, in a different direction and it didn't...
