Thanks for the advice. Okay, I'm just going to go with the 9 psi and be done with it. Tired of waiting and worrying.

My 1st goal was to get car paid off. Done. 2nd was to pay off credit cards. Done. If I ever decide that my goal is to buy "every part in the book" I'll (1) Let MPH do a great job for me. (2) Let Steeda build me a Steeda Q car to my liking. (3) I'll find out if a "stock" Z06 from the future...

KB claims that their components are superior. One guy claimed that inlet "stuff" is a waste on non-intercooled kits. I don't believe it. That's what I thought - don't see any reason to wait any longer! :)

Thanks for the advice. This probably won't change my opinion, but I never really got an answer about the cooler on another thread...what portion of the radiator/condenser is covered up by the cooler? Thanks.

Not if the 5spd driver skills suck all day long. I wouldn't be surprised if there were at least 10 stinko 5spd drivers out there for every 1 good driver. :D

I'd just as soon have my options (some will be removed with SC install) and a 6 psi KB...over your options and LTs. Any day. I wonder how many others would prefer a 6 psi KB over LTs? Or maybe the KB and LTs? :) I can't wait until I'm not N/A. :nice:

I meant the Cool Air Kit, 90mm Meter, Big Tube and 75mm TB...yes. I didn't see any mention of the inlet parts doing nothing for the non-intercooled kit, but I did see... "RECOMMENDED OPTIONAL PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS (see catalog & website) Kenne Bell 90mm Meter & Chip (up to 13HP over...

Glad that you're happy with your KB. For now I figure it will the best kit for my needs. :nice:

Thread: "For 6# KB owners..." :chair: Are you glad that you chose the 6# KB? Thanks.

I'm ready to buy.. After considering all options from a full built forged engine, heads, cams, built transmission, rear axle, etc... all hooked up to maxed out KB (looking for that 600+ RWHP) to just going with a 9# KB system on stock internals with stock transmission and rear axle. With the 9#...

    KB Intercooler...

My transmission cooler is mounted to the lowest point...all the way over to the driver's side of the car that I could mount it because the hoses were almost too short - bolted to the lower front radiator/condenser support. Looks like a PS cooler/tube and bracket takes up a lot of the middle and...

Are you just "Stock" for right now with your current Mustang...or have you always been "Stock"? Guess you're familiar with (or have tested) the old Superchips Max Micro Tuner...or probably not? My Superchips MM tuner was a 100% pure pile of crap compared to my Hypertech. Hypertech Shift...

"What if..." ...I wanted a best guess estimate on my flywheel HP and RWHP with my current mods, but I don't know of a good dyno guy in my area - could someone here help me? Please. Only good dyno guy near me refuses to touch any non-GM vehicles. Thanks.

Anybody? With an intercooled KB? Thanks in advance...

Where is it mounted? Any photos? Just wondering if my transmission cooler will be in the way. Thanks.

    ? #2 ...Octane Booster

I wouldn't even consider smashing it - tune is better than stock; better than Superchip Micro Max...and the shift program feels 1000 times better than "stock" or the Superchip Micro Max program. That SC crap had me shifting into OD at about 25 MPH (normal driving) at the *highest* settings...

    ? #2 ...Octane Booster

Not on the programmer I have. You install the Engine Tuning as is ...with a "Y" or "N" - You get the 93 Octane tuning. I would get the new Hypertech HyperPac Tuner, but I'll be getting the KB pretty soon and I would prefer to use that $800 on the KB system.

    ? #2 ...Octane Booster

Since 93 octane is no longer available in my area and I will be switching back to my 93 octane Hypertech tune today, which Octane booster is the best? Superchip tune was for 91 octane but the transmission shifts really suck big time so I'm switching back until I get my KB. With their chip I'll...
