    installed procharger kit and car won't start

    If it has the gel coating, you can use a small piece of scuff pad (looks like a tiny sponge) and you should rub front to rear on the contacts...not side to side. Sometimes a toothpick works good to start with just to break up the goo first.

    That would be like trading chrome Steeda wheels for painted OEM wheels. Also, no "official" numbers but I'd guess that for every 100 Mustangs that have Flowmaster and Magnaflow...probably only 1 has SLP - I wouldn't want to sound like every other Mustang. And what is wrong with a "too loud"...

    ....So nobody has ever used a KB chip with an automatic transmission and a non-stock rear axle ratio. Okay, I'll just find out when I use the chip myself. I'll post the results. Thanks. :nice:

    If your cranking rpm's seem [normal] fast enough, then I'd guess a fuel pressure problem. You might be losing fuel rail pressure. Mine has a fuel pressure sensor, but you might have a fuel pressure regulator and it could be leaking...or maybe a drippy injector? Have the pressure tested and make...

    Guess everybody has their own preference on just how an exhaust should sound. Like I said, mine probably sounds very similar to your brother's exhaust and I love mine - loudest freakiest exhaust I've heard on any Mustang in my area...and all the placid Mustangs I hear just sound the same...

    How long has he had this combo? I ask because when I added an O/R x-pipe to my Dynomax race bullets [probably pretty close to the SLP] ...I didn't really like it - I was like :fuss: for about a week, but now that I've driven it a few weeks I'm :D He just might learn to love it. :shrug:

    You'd go with the Borla? If you are sick of all of the droney loud gnarly exhaust tones...you better stay away from Borla [Stinger] because it's as nasty as it wants to be. Especially with an O/R midpipe. My Dynomax race bullets are slightly louder the the Stinger mufflers that I removed...

    10k did seem way low to me - my 1st best guess was between 20k-25k. And that's why I mentioned Modular Powerhouse. I've seen where they get high HP from automatics and I figured they wouldn't leave any weak links in the total job.
