    Cylinder Numbers... Easy question...

Wrong. Looking at the motor from the front of the car, cylinder #1 is the closest cylinder on the left (passenger side). 4 8 3 7 2 6 1 5 (front of motor here) HO firing order is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8

    struts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! need help!!!

I'm sorry i can not help you with the problem, have you compared the new struts to your old ones? struts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! need help!!!

Why don't you explain the problem your having? Simply telling us that you can not install a pair of struts makes you sound incompetent. The bottom of the strut bolts up to the spindle and the top goes through the plate on your strut tower with a nut holding it in place. What's the problem???

    better steering?

Should have replaced it with an SN95 steering rack, they provide less assist than a fox unit. Check the rag joint on your steering shaft for play.

Did intense long search, now need your help-which firing order???

Most caps have a "1" or another marking letting you know which spark needs to go to cylinder #1. All 302 HO (High Output) motors from 85 and on use 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8. I'm not too sure on 79-84 motors.

Grinding tips of axles after trac-lock rebuilt.

I think I had about a 1/32" or bigger gap between the end of the axles and the pin. Aslong as they don't touch the pin, then i don't see you having a problem.

Grinding tips of axles after trac-lock rebuilt.

I asked about this before, and ended up grinding the ends of the axles. I havn't had the car on the road since then, but i'm not too worried. Grinding the pin will give you problems though.

    bump stear?

Google definition causes your steering wheel to turn slightly as your front suspension cycles up and down, as when the car goes over a bump, or when the body rolls in a corner, or when the front end dives during heavy braking. This "self steering" happens because the tie rods and control arms...

The plugs should let you know which cylinder has the miss.

For those of you with 94 spindles......

You'll want to use fox struts, especially on a lowered car. You can probably get away with SN95 struts but you may have bottoming out issues if your car is lowered, as the SN95 struts are longer than fox struts.

    Should I Change to longtubes?

With the same size primary tubes, longtubes will make better horse power and torque accross the board than shorties. With my longtubes, the drivers side went in without a snag from the bottom. The passenger side was pretty tight, involved some cursing. You don't need 1 3/4" longtubes...
