Got some more time this weekend with the car. Got the lower intake on, the fuel injectors and hard rails re-installed, and put the spark plugs in. Also added the new adj. fuel pressure regulator.

Some fresh pictures now, I had to spend a great deal of time modifying the Ford Motorsports chrome dipstick to get it to fit. Got the dipstick installed, and the headers installed, and test fitted the new LMR polished valve covers.

Comp Cam Push Rod Length Checker Sucks...

Ah. That said, I did confer with Ed Curtis and he indicated he preferred the right-most one after these series of photos were taken, so I ended up buying 6.350" Hi-Tech rods and returned the 6.250" once I confirmed the measurement of the measuring tool. So your initial hunch about the stock...

Pulled out a Romac Red Series balancer to determine if I can/should polish it. I didn't want to sand it as it's very weight specific, but it looks great out of the box already, not sure I can improve upon that too much. I did hit the backside with the mothers polish, but no black residue means...

Comp Cam Push Rod Length Checker Sucks...

Are you talking about this picture? The far left valve stem (there are three) is what I was talking about. The far right one is the proper wear pattern (disregarding where I smudged the ink in pulling the roller off). I'm "listening" to you, and was confused when you said the second picture...

Comp Cam Push Rod Length Checker Sucks...

You mean the one with the stock pushrod length, where i didn't set it at TDC or set valve lash properly, thus having it right at the far outside of the valve? Yeah, I'm not going to go with that one.

Ed Curtis agreed. Here's 3 more tests. I "fixed" the comp cam tool using a sandpaper and tape. Here's the baseline. The new 6.250" rods are left, the cam tool on the right set to 6 5/16" And here's the second test, with the length tool set a little over .1" longer, at 6 and 6/16"

At some point I'll get a rollbar, as I haven't had a rear seat in forever. Here you can see the Corbeau seats in full: Poor mans rear seat delete. I screwed the backs o the old seats to the subwoofer box. Another view of the passenger seat. Barely used. Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter and...

Obviously I can't do any nice outdoor shots, the car hasn't moved in 5 months. But here you can see the LX rear bumper swap, the saleen valence, my brand new historical plates ('cause the car is elderly) and proof that the car is, in fact, a transformer: It transforms money into blood...

Back in 2006 my radiator ruptured in a parking lot. That was awesome. Nothing like sliding under my car to replace and repair my radiator. Even better was the ******* ex-coworker who thought it would be fun to chastise me for working on my car in the parking lot instead of toying it to a...

Good lighting on this one for the front wheel and tire. You can see the brembo caliper nicely. And here we have a nice shot of the rear wheel, and the Baer brake.

The bug ridden front of the car. I swapped the ol' ford logo for steeda. You'll notice my fog lights, and all support bars behind the front valance are removed to save weight. It then cracked the fiberglass there, which I need to fix someday.
