    289 engine

a couple of things I know of to check, but I am sure others will have easier or better ideas. You could check the vin to see if it was a hipo or not, but that would only work if your sure the engine is original, the others would be to check the block casting numbers near the starter and maybe...

Any regrets going with a classic?

+1 for what zookeeper said. My current one is not a daily driver, but a classic can be a blast to drive daily and can give you the power you need. Opinions on rear quarter trim

I kinda like the trim on the darker colors, but mine is lighter and I dont think it would look as good with the trim myself. I am not a fan of the c stripe either. I am debating about the rocker moulding myself.

    351 Engine swap Exhaust issue

i think he means he just took the collector off to make it easier to heat and bend a single tube at a time cuz with the collector on you would have to try and bend all 4 tubes at once to try and get additional clearance

    Starting point for resto

it has 4 wheel disc, and pretty sure they are all from a versailles swap, also had to put an 84 svo master cylinder on it as the brakes were just mush when I got it, but now I wonder if a versaille master would have been better. I think I may go ahead and see about getting the cowls and other...
