    Custom Firing Order???

It's 15/16th if it's the stock balancer bolt. If it's an ARP, it's a 5/8th 12 point or 6 point depending on which you bought.

You would want light up front (1), and stiff in the back (5).. play around with it, and you will find the sweet spot.

    Custom Firing Order???

Oops.. I see you have an aftermarket cam... so you need to go off that to have the correct firing order. If it's a 5.0 HO cam or a 351W cam, then use that firing order... If it's a 289/302 cam, use the non HO firing order.

    Custom Firing Order???

Also, F-150's were non HO motors. So your firing order would follow that. Find Number 1 on the cap (should be marked) and put them in order. This is the way the cylinders are layed out on a Ford 302...

    Custom Firing Order???

If it's a 302 non HO, the firing order is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 5.0 HO is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 . That is also the firing order of a 351W. Good luck.

Holes in back of timing cover? what are they for?

Crazy... It sounds like you used the 351W gasket.. I did that a long time ago, with the same problems. I have never had this problem with those holes in the timing cover. It should never leak out of them even if they are "holes" if that water pump/timing cover gasket is good, and sealing...

rolling forward in staging lanes, why?

Hum... Time for roll control (line lock). I've never had a problem with rolling forward, although I know it can happen. How fast do you roll forward?

    84 5.0 w/carb conv.not cooperating/HELP!

Why the fuuuuuuuuuuuck would you be running a 2 barrel carb on a 5.0? You should be running atleast a 575-600 CFM 4 barrel. What were you thinking?

    Drag coilovers? Are these real?

If you'd gunna drive the car on the street, I'd go with 70/30s... Control arms will help with deflection, and wheel hop.. this way you can take off the quad shocks. They also are much stronger, and will keep the rear from flexing so much. I ran a 12.509 @ 108.87

    Drag coilovers? Are these real?

I used 70/30s up front (Street car) and 50/50s in the back. I didn't have a sway bar up front either, which helped a bit. I was going to replaced the control arm bushings (front lower control arms), but no one could figure out what control arms I had... lol... None would fit from any fox body...

    "wet" nitrous questions

The Digital MSD boxes will automatically retard the timing to your pre set amount when the nitrous is activated. Cool stuff. :nice: I also agree with the guy saying puddling doesn't occur if you use it right. It will usually only puddle when using too much fuel, activating the nitrous at...
